The trio has a distinct sound due to arrangements and compositions of the Argentinian Alberto Paez. The repertoire spans tangos in the original Argentinian style of the 40s and 50s and Tango Nuevo.

Studies in piano and musicology. Professional accompanist, lied accompanist and solo Pianist, performing mainly in the Karlsruhe, Munich and Berlin area.

 
Vlad Cojocaru

accordion: Vlad Cojocaru

born 1983 in Cimislia Moldova.
He studied accordion and piano at the academy of music and Theater in Chisinau. In 2003 he continued his studies at the Richard-Strauss academy of music in Munich, Germany, where he gradued in 2009 both as professional musician and as music teacher. Thus he received a paedagogic as well as an artist diploma.
Competitions and Awards: Besides others , he excelled in the accordion-contests "Eugen Coca" and "Barbu Lautaru" in Chisinau as well as "Jocurille delfice" in Breanks, Russia. Vlad currently plays in several ensembles, featuring Jazz music, modern Bavarian as well as Eastern European music. www.cojocaru.de

 
Alberto Paez

clarinet, arrangements, composition: Alberto Páez

Graduate clarinetist, tango studies with Sebastian Piana.
Alberto works as a composer, arranger and tutor. He performs in various ensembles in South America as well as all over Europe. (See "about" for more)

 

To me tango means passion, it makes music come alive. I am convinced of its power and its tremendous effects. It tells stories of picutres, people and movements, reflecting the people and the soul of my country and of my culture.
